The Town Council acts within certain legislation and within its approved policies. As we are a new Council, we are still in the process of setting up the required policies. Each policy that is created has to be approved by the Full Council.
Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct contains the prescribed behaviour for Councillors and is monitored by the District Council Monitoring Officer.
Complaints
The Council will follow these procedures in the event of someone wishing to raise a complaint about the services provided.
Financial Regulations
Financial Regulations dictate how the Council operates its finances.
Standing Orders
Standing Orders are the framework that the Council has to work to and they determine how meetings are run and how the Council operates.

Terms of Reference are published for each Committee. They describe exactly what each Committee is permitted to do and the powers that they have.
