Eastleigh Borough Council are responsible for the following:
- Road sweeping, leaf clearance, grass, hedges and shrubs
- Abandoned vehicles and shopping trolleys
- Litter and public litter bins
- Public toilets
- Dog fouling
- Environmental enforcement
- Graffiti
- Dead animals on the road
- Discarded syringes and needles

Transport and roads
Hampshire County Council are responsible for all highways matters, including:
- Potholes
- Roadworks
- Paving problems
- Street lighting
- Tree or hedge problems on the highway
- Flooding/drainage issues on the highway
- Grass cutting/weed control alongside the highway
- Disabled parking/blue badges
From 1st April 2023, Hampshire County Council will be taking over the following from Eastleigh Borough Council:
- On street parking enforcement (excluding EBC owned car parks)
- Parking controls such as double yellow lines, disabled parking bay applications and access protection markings.
