The Council has received notification from Southern Water regarding a significant road closure in place from 7pm on Friday, following the evening rush hour, re-opening in the afternoon of Sunday 23rd June, provided there are no obstacles during the works.
Southern Water Update
This weekend, we need to undertake work to replace a water pipe on Leigh Road, Chandler’s Ford (SO53 3AU.) Due to the location of the water main, and in order to complete the work safely, we will need to close Leigh Road between the M3 junction and Bournemouth Road, and have a diversion in place as shown below:
